Lin-Chi brings a depth of experience to Title IX work, including policy writing, conducting high-profile, sensitive investigations, and serving as a decision-maker in sexual misconduct adjudications.

Lin-Chi previously served as the Director of Equity & Title IX Coordinator and Associate Dean of Students at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania, where she trained, implemented, and enforced all aspects of the College's Equal Opportunity and Nondiscrimination Policy. Lin-Chi also oversaw response and investigation of all institutional reports and complaints of identity-based discrimination and harassment, sexual misconduct, intimate partner violence, stalking, and retaliatory harassment as prohibited by College policies, and she served as the primary institutional investigator for such complaints. Prior to Muhlenberg College, Lin-Chi served as an institutional civil rights investigator for Michigan State University, conducting sensitive and high-profile internal investigations of sexual misconduct, sexual harassment, intimate partner violence, stalking, retaliation, and discrimination and harassment on the basis of a protected identity. Before her career in higher education, Lin-Chi practiced as an attorney at a labor and employment law firm in Michigan.

In her various positions, Lin-Chi has developed a deep understanding of how to approach anti-discrimination and sexual harassment work fairly and effectively within the current compliance structure. She engages in this important work with humanity, empathy and compassion for all the participants involved, while always prioritizing fairness and impartiality.
