Jayne Grandes served with distinction for twenty-five years as a higher education professional focusing on Title IX and civil rights.  As a senior-level administrator at several prestigious institutions, Jayne set policy, supervised institutional handling of issues of discrimination and harassment, and led investigative teams. 

Jayne has conducted and supervised hundreds of civil rights investigations of all forms of protected status discrimination and harassment (e.g., race, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender, disability, veteran status). With her depth of in-house experience, Jayne understands the need for impartiality, strong communication, promptness, and attention to detail required when conducting sexual misconduct investigations involving faculty, staff and students.   


Jayne treats every investigation with the sensitivity and attention the parties deserve, ensuring that each complaint is handled in a confidential and timely manner.  She applies her extensive knowledge in the field to conduct thorough fact gathering, focused application of policy to the facts collected, and well-reasoned investigation reports.


Jayne is a licensed private investigator in the State of North Carolina.
